It is scary because these people have had very, very limited anatomy training. Plus, they have no real testing to ensure that they are capable to teach a Zumba Class.
You have to make 100% sure that whether your Zumba Toning instructor is a certified fitness professional or not. One way to find out if they are capable to teach is to look at their experience of taking Zumba Toning classes.
Find out if your instructor is a personal trainer, fitness instructor or a dance teacher. If there only credential is that they took the training workshops then you should think about attending their class.
That doesn’t mean that they are superb instructors. What I am saying is that most of the instructors don’t know what they are doing. They will teach you unsafe movements and can cause you injury.
They have to be serious about what they are going to teach. So, they will make an effort to become a professional.
The best thing to do if you don’t a reliable Zumba Toning Instructor near you is to go to Youtube. Learn yourself and you should take it slow for the first couple of classes at home.
