Before we start, Where does Zumba Come from?
The story begins with a beautiful accident in 1990’s in columbia, when dancer and choreographer Alberto Perez was about to teach an aerobics class & the forgot his regular music class so the got some Salsa music from his backpack. The rest is history.

Hence, the word Step. The leg muscles will get stronger and the rigorous workout will burn calories right off your body.
Zumba Toning
The movements in this Zumba dance is blended with Aerobics. The main focus of Zumba toning is to make your arms, abs and thighs strong in a single workout. Who wouldn’t want that? Weights are used to get the best out of this workout.

Types of Zumba Music
Different music genres and different Zumba styles yet it creates a unique dance style. The upbeat music changes so fast that it makes you groove on your own while getting a good exercise.
Salsa
Salsa is a concoction of different styles and cultures but its home can be called New York because it was created by merging of different diverse groups. The centre of the this dance form is Cuban and Caribbean which is fast paced. This dance style is helps in choreographing different types of Zumba dance moves which are very aerobic in nature.
Samba
Samba is the beloved dance of Brazilians though it originated from the slave tribes of West Africa, it is now a Brazilian national dance. This dance form is performed on the streets on festivals and his widely known for its sexy hip movement.
Reggaeton
It is a perfect combination of Latin Hip Hop, Jamaican, Latin and Electronica. It’s heavy drum beats make it similar to American Hip Hop but it originates from Puerto Rico.
Bhangra
Bhangra is an Indian Dance form widely famous throughout the country. This particular dance form is performed by Punjabis, a community in India. This dance form his performed during a festival called Baisakhi. The heavy dhol beats make Bhangra famous.
Cumbia
Originating from Colombia, South America, Cumbia got really famous in the mid 20th century but it evolved significantly due to the evolution of the musical instruments. This dance form is loved by millions. A slave tribe created Cumbia.
Experience Zumba at Home: My Suggestion
Let’s see how you can do Zumba at home with the experience I am having.
I prefer sometimes to go for Home workouts. so I use Zumba DVD. The best thing about working out at home is you will have time to manage your own way as you are not going outside for any session and you will save a lot of time.
You will have your own schedule of a session and your own way of doing it, Just follow what I follow. Score!
