Step 1: Choose a Program
Choose a program which you want to be licensed in. There are two programs you can choose to become a Zumba instructor. The first one goes by the name of Zumba Basics & the second one is Zumba Jump Start Gold. After Zumba basic certification class gets over you can teach a Zumba class for one year. That’s how long the license lasts. In a Zumba Basic class, you get to learn all the basics of everything of how to teach a Zumba class.
In Zumba Jump Start Gold class you get to learn all the basics of how to teach a Zumba class & you get additional training on how to teach senior citizens. Most of the gyms require a Zumba instructor which has a certification if you don’t have one it is going to be hard to find a gym which hires an unlicensed instructor. In case, you want to open your own studio it is only obvious that you have to get insurance & insurance companies will not provide you insurance unless you have a Zumba Instructor License and a Group Fitness Certification. Making a career in fitness industry requires a Group Fitness Certification.

I prefer sometimes to go for Home workouts. so I use Zumba DVD. The best thing about working out at home is you will have time to manage your own way as you are not going outside for any session and you will save a lot of time.
